New passport facility for Ariz.

TUCSON, Ariz. - A company that makes passports for the U.S. government is planning to open a new printing facility here.

Stanley Inc. will hire at least 150 people in the next 18 months. Work at the facility is expected to begin in the spring.

Operations at Stanley's Tucson location will include 52,000 square feet for printing, quality control and mailing of passports under a contract with the U.S. State Department.

Stanley Inc. also has a printing facility in Hot Springs, Ark.
